2024 Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged for 18 months in French oak, our estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon opens with bright cassis and juicy plum, complemented by a touch of citrus and savory herb. Deep black raspberry fruit brings both ripeness and freshness. Medium to full-bodied it's balanced and graceful with plush tannins that carry through a long finish.

"Cut from the same cloth as the 2023 with its bright cassis, juicy plum, spicy wood, and cedar pencil aromatics, the 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon Trailview Vineyard shows that more exotic edge of orange and sappy herbs that's common in 2024. It's medium to full-bodied, pure, balanced, and graceful on the palate, with fine tannins and a great finish. It's clearly outstanding, if not quite a bit more."

2023 Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged for 19 months in French oak, this graceful wine offers a lush, layered profile with seamlessly integrated tannins, floral aromatics and dark fruit flavors that linger on the palate. A velvety texture carries through to a long, expressive finish. A classic expression of our vineyard and the vintage, it is crafted for enjoyment now yet it will continue to evolve gracefully in the cellar for many years.

Our two-acre Trailview Vineyard sits on the Valley floor along the Silverado Trail, just south of the charming town of Calistoga. Planted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon, this small, low-yielding site is shaped by well-drained volcanic soils, abundant sunshine, and Calistoga's warm growing season — ideal conditions for cultivating fruit of remarkable depth and concentration.

Calistoga Press is home to a small grove of hand-tended olive trees. From this sun drenched grove comes a rare find in the Napa Valley: a multi-medal winning, certified Extra Virgin Olive Oil which showcases our Manzanillo olives.

Harvested when many olives are still green, this beautifully fragrant oil is rich in both flavor and polyphenols with a creamy, fruit forward style and a robust, peppery finish. Perfect for use on bread, salads, vegetables or in any recipe when only a premium olive oil will do.

Hand-tended and harvested at their peak, they produce just under 100 gallons of golden, delicious extra virgin oil each year.
